Cookie Policy

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file a website can leave in your browser so that it recognises you the next time you visit. Some are necessary for a page to work at all. Others exist to follow you.

This page tells you which kind this site uses, in plain terms, so you can decide for yourself.

What this site uses

Only what is needed for the site to function. If you sign in, a cookie keeps you signed in as you move between pages. If you submit a form, a cookie lets us show you the confirmation rather than a blank screen.

These disappear when they are no longer needed. None of them is used to build a picture of you.

How we count visitors

We do measure how many people read a page, because it tells us what is worth writing more of. That measurement is done without cookies and without identifying you.

We can see that a page was read. We cannot see who read it, and we cannot follow you from here to anywhere else.

What we do not do

No advertising cookies. No tracking pixels shared with advertising networks. No selling or renting of anything about you to anybody.

We do not use what you read here to train artificial intelligence.

Your choice

Your browser can block or delete cookies at any time, and every major browser lets you do it in a few clicks.

Blocking them may sign you out or stop a form from confirming properly. You will still be able to read everything here.
